About the opportunity

What this role contributes.

The Electrical & MEP Technician supports inspection-led maintenance for villas, apartments, offices, retail units, restaurants and managed properties. The role requires disciplined isolation, testing, documentation and escalation where work falls outside the approved scope.

The technician should be comfortable coordinating with customers, supervisors and other trades when an electrical issue is connected to AC, plumbing, equipment or property-access conditions.

Core responsibilities

What you will be accountable for.

Review the reported fault, property information, access conditions and approved work scope.
Apply safe isolation, verification and controlled re-energization procedures.
Inspect and support repair of lighting points, switches, sockets, accessories and minor electrical faults.
Assist with distribution-board observations, circuit identification and escalation of unsafe conditions.
Coordinate minor MEP work with AC, plumbing, equipment and finishing requirements where relevant.
Maintain accurate test notes, material records, photographs and customer handover information.
Keep tools, meters, PPE and work areas organized and serviceable.

Required background

What the role requires.

Relevant electrical or MEP trade qualification, apprenticeship or documented practical experience.
Understanding of safe isolation, electrical hazards, basic testing and fault-reporting discipline.
Experience with common residential or commercial lighting, socket and accessory systems.
Ability to interpret job instructions and maintain clear technical records in English.
Willingness to work across occupied properties while protecting customers, equipment and finishes.
Valid UAE driving licence is preferred for mobile assignments.

Preferred experience

Useful additional strengths.

Experience in facilities maintenance or multi-trade service coordination.
Familiarity with basic AC, pump, control or commercial-kitchen equipment interfaces.
Current technical certificates that can be independently verified.
Basic Arabic, Hindi or Urdu communication skills.

Work environment

Residential and commercial service calls across approved Dubai routes.
Work may involve plant rooms, ceilings, distribution areas and occupied customer spaces.
Testing, isolation and authorization controls take priority over speed.
Some assignments may require coordination outside normal property operating hours.
