About the opportunity

What this role contributes.

This role supports planned and reactive drainage work for villas, apartments, restaurants, commercial kitchens and managed properties. The technician is expected to combine safe equipment handling with accurate site information, clean work practices and clear communication.

Assignments may involve blocked drains, recurring grease or sludge buildup, floor-drain overflow, access-point review and preventive cleaning. Final methods are selected according to pipe condition, site access, contamination risk and the approved work scope.

Core responsibilities

What you will be accountable for.

Review job instructions, reported symptoms, property access and safety requirements before travel.
Prepare drain-cleaning machines, hoses, hydro-jetting equipment, nozzles, PPE and containment materials.
Support mechanical drain cleaning and high-pressure water jetting where the assessed pipe condition allows.
Assist with CCTV inspection setup, access-point identification and recording of relevant observations.
Control wastewater, splash, residue and work-zone cleanliness during commercial and residential assignments.
Record work completed, access restrictions, observed risks and recommended follow-up actions.
Explain practical prevention guidance to customers without making unsupported technical or warranty promises.

Required background

What the role requires.

Practical experience in drainage, plumbing maintenance, hydro-jetting or a closely related technical trade.
Ability to work safely around wastewater, confined access points, rotating equipment and pressurized hoses.
Basic understanding of drain routes, cleanouts, traps, chambers and common blockage materials.
Ability to read job instructions, complete service records and communicate clearly in English.
Physically able to handle field equipment and work in indoor, outdoor and commercial-kitchen environments.
Valid UAE driving licence is preferred for roles involving vehicle and equipment movement.

Preferred experience

Useful additional strengths.

Experience with commercial kitchen drainage or grease-related blockages.
Experience assisting with CCTV drain inspection systems.
Basic Arabic, Hindi or Urdu communication skills.
Documented health-and-safety or equipment training relevant to the role.

Work environment

Mobile field assignments across approved Dubai service areas.
Work may be scheduled around restaurant, retail or facility operating hours.
PPE, hygiene controls and equipment checks are required for every relevant assignment.
Outdoor work follows applicable UAE heat-stress and site-safety controls.
